DCP was founded in 2017 by Michael Crow. He has over 40 years of experience in all aspects of commercial real estate and business lending working as a senior executive for companies such as Price Waterhouse, Security Pacific Bank and in partnership with several institutions such as Lehman Bros.

After the GFC started to diminish and the capital came back slowly into commercial real estate, Michael formed a multifamily real estate vertically integrated owner operator. Michael moved from NYC to set up headquarters in Atlanta, eventually acquiring and renovating 4,500 units
with $600 million AUM, all located in GA, SC and FL. This team grew to over 180 strong and included property management, acquisition, development, and construction. They weathered the tough times of COVID, no eviction mandates and then rising interest rates.

When prices of Class C apartment properties started to approach the credit and cap rate spreads of Class A, cap rates increasing such that is was negative leverage on all type of assets, and Unit prices climbed to over 70% of new construction, Michael knew the commercial real estate market had peaked and started selling the portfolio. During the next 3 years the portfolio was sold, and the decision made to wait for the market to bottom.

Now DCP is back into the commercial real estate and some selected business lending working with talented sponsors, owners and brokers to be the direct source of balance sheet debt and equity.

DCP is part of Dunross Real Estate, a NY commercial real estate brokerage firm, and is a direct buy side partner of selected institutional funds. DCP aligns its JV/direct debt and equity partners with the structure and opportunity and is the primary party to see it to close. It is the Funds balance sheet but DCP does the structure and heavy lifting. Our track record speaks to the success of this targeted direct approach.

DCP has team members in the USA and offshore that support IT, credit, marketing and
accounting. The goal at DCP is to build relationships that build assets and mutual success for all parties.
